We all know that this 2012 is going to be a very special year, and I would like to ask you to do something different and special, so that we can all contribute to make a difference which will hopefully become contagious from the very beginning and will spread throughout.

I have a special invitation for you. I would like to invite you to “share randomly”.

Did you hear about what happened this Christmas at K-mart stores? Somebody paid for somebody else’s layaway, and when that person found out, besides being very happy and grateful, he or she decided to pay somebody else’s layaway. That started a chain reaction, a domino effect. People started paying forward for somebody they didn’t know.

Well, I wanted to do something different this year myself. I felt like giving anonymously and definitely not expecting anything in return. I was looking to surprise and somehow make some people happy.

When I finally went to K-mart, it was too late to pay for a layaway, but the manager suggested I could buy some gift cards and give them away to different people, so I did.

I shared what I was going to do with my friend Olga, who lives in Switzerland, and she said, “Please buy some on my behalf. I love the idea!” Giving is contagious!

The manager told me that he could give the cards away, but I decided to ask God to inspire me and tell me who to give them to at the store. Well, the experience was a good one. Some people looked at the gift card with a certain degree of distrust. They weren’t sure it was for real. Some said “Thank you,” but again not too convinced. Others were very grateful. I am sure they were all surprised, especially when they went to pay with it and found out it really worked! And something else: I am sure they had a story to share with their families and friends, a tale of how a stranger showed up out of nowhere and for no reason gave them a $25 gift card.

Denise, from our Ho’oponopono sacred forum, shared this with us when she heard me sharing my experience about sharing during my last monthly Ho’oponopono Q&A class: “I had a similar Inspiration a couple of months ago, when my family was having lunch together. I mentioned that, instead of us getting gifts for each other, we could pool the money that we would spend on gifts and donate it to those who could really use it. And so we did. I had a couple different catalogues that I brought out for Christmas, and everyone went through them and had a say regarding where the money would go and what would be given. It was a very peaceful and wonderful Christmas.”

So, my question to you is: Would you be willing to do something out of the ordinary, something unexpected? Would you be willing to share randomly, unconditionally, without expecting anything in return? What about sharing and giving to a stranger?

Just imagine what a huge difference we could make if every one of us gave the world just one random act of kindness and sharing, and that act were to catch on like it did at K-mart. The giving would multiply exponentially! Even if the outcome were not so exponential, we would still change the world with our giving. Kindness not only changes reality for good in ways unknown to the giver but also blesses the giver with the gift of gratitude. You start receiving In the moment you are giving.

Remember, the love we give is the love we get. The world is, in fact, what we make it, everyday, with our thoughts, words, and actions.

I would love for you to follow your own inspiration and then share your experience with us. What do say? Ho’oponopono is about taking responsibility for the reality we create. Everything comes back. Be sure that nothing is a coincidence. If you decide to participate, you can be sure the person or persons you give to will be the perfect ones.

Would you be willing to participate in this experiment of ever growing kindness, cleaning and sharing? We will be waiting for your stories and comments. You can also send us a video or audio, if you choose. All submissions are welcome.

I can’t wait to hear back from you!

Very frequently, you write to me and ask if I gave this or that person permission to teach after he or she took the workshop with me only once, and I make it clear that I have permission to use the registered material, but I do not have permission to grant permission to teach.

What’s most important, and what my organizers in different parts of the world always ask me to continue clarifying, is that Ho’oponopono is not taught only through words. And that is why, as Ihaleakalá often says: “It seems easy to teach, but it isn’t.” This last time I was in Romania, as a result of my interaction with a young girl, I was able to demonstrate this concept in a practical way and in the present moment. This was also an excellent confirmation for me, as I always learn a lot from the children who come to my workshops. I enjoy them and I love having them there. As I always say, children are impossible to deceive.

This last time in Bucharest, a five year old girl came to the workshop with her mother. The mother was taking the workshop for a second time and the girl had asked her mother to take her with her the next time she took it. At several points during the workshop, the young girl would walk up and down in front of me. She would look at me and observe me as I spoke and then she would bring me some very beautiful and colorful drawings that she made herself and where she wrote that she loved me. Of course, the audience witnessed these interactions, and we all smiled. At one point I asked, “Do you think I am receiving love letters because of what I’m saying with words? Not at all. This little girl is able to see what I do not say to you. She can see the work (the cleaning) that I do while I speak!" Thus, I was able to verify that what matters most is the work we do behind the scenes, with ourselves. It is also very important to clean and prepare before, during and after teaching.

We receive incredible benefits when we complete a Ho’oponopono workshop with somebody who offers it with authorization and, above all, is prepared because he or she has taken many Ho’oponopono workshops and, especially, has practiced it for a long time. It is also important for the person to abstain from practicing other techniques besides Ho’oponopono. This ensures that the teacher’s inner child will not be confused and will be able to do the cleaning automatically. It is important for the person to know how to prepare the room to turn it into a sanctuary, so that the room itself can protect us and help us do the cleaning. That’s right. When we teach Ho’oponopono correctly and with permission, the Universe shields and protects us. That is why, when in these workshops, people let go of things that would have otherwise taken them lifetimes to overcome. The blessings we receive in these instances are amazing.

Another clue that generally indicates when a Ho’oponopono workshop is done correctly is that it leaves us a bit tired due to the amount of cleaning done during the training. I always remind my audience, “Even if it seems like you were there doing nothing, everybody does a lot of work during the workshops, so if you feel like going to sleep when you get home, go ahead, don’t even think about it. Pay attention to your bodies and go to bed.” It’s quite amazing also that even people who have insomnia or difficulties sleeping often report the next day that they slept better than they have in ages, for many hours and without waking up!

Dr. Ihaleakalá always says, “While you are in the room, you will be completely protected. Once outside, it all depends on you.” I once asked him what our inner children did while we were at the workshop, and he responded, “While they are here, their Unihipilis (inner children) get along, play cards, etc. But once they leave, that’s a different story.”

Some people trust the power of the workshops so much that they take them in absentia! Can you imagine that? People see results even when they participate in absentia! As Dr. Ihaleakalá would say, “They are smart. They know that what gets erased from the people present at the workshop also gets erased from them.” Of course, this is only possible when the process is done correctly and the Universe is present, protecting and preparing everything.

Divinity tells us: When you move, “I” move. When you take a step, “I” take a step. But, when you stretch, “I” clean the way, but not one minute before or after.” That is why, sometimes, before we make a commitment, the process seems scary. You need to take the first step and offer your trust. I know it is scary, and that’s why we look for excuses, but when we trust, success is guaranteed!

The blessings you get when you show the Universe that you trust are unimaginable. The workshop is something that takes place between God and you. This is also why, unless you pay, you will not receive it. It’s important to appreciate its value and appreciate yourself. You must feel that you deserve it and that you give it to yourself. You can even stretch beyond your boundaries (feel the fear and do it anyway) if you cannot pay for it. All of these are different ways to show your trust to the Universe.

As Dr. Hew Len says, we work with very toxic memories during the workshop. I am aware that my worst enemies come to my workshops, and they do it to give me another chance to correct, to repair. I also know that only when I clean do you receive what is correct and perfect for you, and especially the protection we mentioned before. Not everybody receives or hears the same things. Did you know that? God does not treat us like cattle. We receive what we give. Each one of us is unique and receives that which is correct and perfect for each, but in order for that to happen, the teacher must know how to be at zero and clean while he or she speaks!

Teachers teach for themselves. The age of sacrifice is over. If we can get one of you to erase, what you erase will be erased from us as well. They say that we teach what we need to learn! I always tell my students that I have much more to erase than them. That is why I’m the teacher!

If I don’t know what is correct for me, how can I know what is correct for you? The same thing happens if you ask me something, and I give you an incorrect response because I don’t practice cleaning and I react from my memories instead of coming from Inspiration. This is not good for you or for me. Everything brings consequences.

We all need to continue taking Ho’oponopono courses to continue cleaning and learning how to come more and more from Inspiration. Ho’oponopono is like a retraining, and you need to take it many times and continue hearing the information to be able to reeducate yourself and reeducate your Unihipili (inner child).

I love you,

Mabel

Modern life is constantly accelerating. No wonder we feel there is not enough time for everything we would like to accomplish. The present is the only time we have, and we do not have any time to lose. We have a lot to clean up and need all the help we can get.

-It is time to take 100% responsibility, to stop blaming and to say, “I am sorry for whatever is in me that has created and attracted a certain situation or person to my life.”

-It is time to stop thinking, worrying and reacting, time to become more humble and recognize that we do not know anything.

-It is time to ask for the help of a mind more intelligent than ours. Some of us call it God. No matter what you call it, you need to recognize that there has to be a more intelligent mind than yours, a mind that conceived the human body, the mountains, the flowers and the oceans, things that you and I cannot create.

-It is time to be in the present and stop lamenting the past and/or worrying about the future.

-It is time to rediscover who we really are, our talents, and passions and do what we love without worrying and trusting that money will come.

When we invest our time doing the Ho’oponopono cleaning, letting go, and all of the above, we definitely experience time in a different way.

One personal experience I can share with you is about my travels around the world. I have no doubt in my mind that I can physically do it because of the Ho’oponopono tools that help me to be present and bring my inner family (mind, body and spirit) along with me all the time, thus avoiding jetlag. Many times I’ve thought that God wants to remind me that time and space are really an illusion.

As a matter of fact, we have created this world of illusion. We set the rules, but then we came here and forgot all about it. You see, we forgot we came to clean, to erase, and to make amends. Instead, we learned to engage and react. We waste our precious time.

That is why it is so difficult for us to understand that everything is perfect, that the law of cause and effect really works, that we reap what we sow, and that everything comes back to us, the good and the bad. Because we are trapped in illusion, we don’t understand why things happen to us, but everything is a consequence of something we did in the past, most of the time, something we did in past lives.

Our conscious mind experiences time, while our subconscious mind doesn’t. Carl Jung noticed that dreams occur outside of time. In them, there is no past, no present, and no future. When we operate from our subconscious, times seems to disappear.

When we do what we love, when we are in the flow (at zero), we experience time in a very different way.

Time is very important, much more than money. Depending on how we invest our time, we will or will not attract money. When we complain and blame, we do not invest our time well. Doing the cleaning is investing our time. It is being proactive, even though our intellect may tell us that it is not. When we clean, money and everything we need comes to us effortlessly.

It is time to stop thinking and analyzing everything. There is nothing you need to know or understand. It is time to become a child again, to stop worrying and to not take things so seriously.

This is our time. We can now erase what would have taken us many lives.

Just let go and trust. You will see that the timing will be perfect and patience will pay off.

World peace is respect and acceptance of our differences. It is the freedom to think and perceive things in different ways, with no boundaries.

These are vital truths. It is important to take responsibility and stop blaming anyone or anything for the challenges and situations in our life, including ourselves!

In the same way, when we practice acceptance and abstain from trying to impose our point of view, when we accept people, situations, circumstances, and events as they occur, we can be at peace, no matter what is going on around us. If we let go of the need to be right, to defend ourselves, to have the last word and to convince others of our points of view, we can find peace beyond understanding.

Remember what Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len said: “A problem is not a problem unless you say it is, and the problem is not the problem, but how you react to the problem is the problem.” Every problem is simply an opportunity in disguise, a blessing, even if it doesn’t look like one. It is a sign that something greater and better is coming.

We can all be at peace no matter what is going on around us, because what’s really happening has anything to do with what is going on around us anyway.

What fuels war? Wars are fueled by beliefs, judgments, opinions and memories. Our conflicts are just memories replaying, and most of them come from memories from our ancestors. Somebody must decide to turn on the light instead of reacting, engaging, and repeating in order to end the continuous conflicts and wars. We must turn on that light for us first (the era of sacrifice is gone) but, once we turn it on for us, it gets turned on for our families, relatives and ancestors. It turns on for everybody, because the light doesn’t discriminate.

Turning on the light is one of the Ho’oponopono processes for cleaning (erasing programs and memories). Through very easy and effective tools, Ho’oponopono helps us to let go and allow Love (God) to erase those memories (beliefs, opinions, judgments) and bring Inspiration into our life (the right ideas, the perfect solutions), and the beautiful thing is that it works for everyone, because whatever gets erased from me, will get erased from my family, relatives and ancestors.

We are 100% responsible for the reality we create and the only reason we are here is to make amends. The cleaning process of the Flor de Lis, for example, helps us to let go and erase memories of bloodshed and slavery to ideas, places, situations and beliefs that keep replaying and keep us stuck, resulting in constant warfare. The truth is that only through our own personal transformation, we will transform the World, and I can tell you with certainty that this is The Easiest Way.

We are still trying to solve and stop war by using the same programs that created them in the first place. When we let go and erase our old programs, the result will be true Freedom. We, the people of the world, must be at peace within in order for the world out there to be at peace.

Finding inner peace to spread world peace is the only way. I believe in a conscious and aware world where all things are possible. If you believe what I believe, let’s spread Awareness and Peace around the World together. It is time to unite on a global level to create inner peace and spread peace to the world.

Where? Within yourself”. – Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona

Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona (May 19, 1913 – February 11, 1992) was recognized as a Kahuna lapaʻau (healer) in Hawaii. She was honored by the State of Hawaii as a Living Treasure in 1983.

Creator of Self Identity through Ho'oponopono, Morrnah founded Pacifica Seminars in the 1970s and in 1980 The Foundation of 'I', Inc. (Freedom of the Cosmos).
Self I-dentity through Ho'oponopono uses techniques to create a working partnership among the three parts of the mind or self, subconscious, conscious and superconscious.

"The main purpose of this process is to discover the Divinity within oneself. The Ho'oponopono is a profound gift which allows one to develop a working relationship with the Divinity within and learn to ask that in each moment, our errors in thought, word, deed or action be cleansed. The process is essentially about freedom, complete freedom from the past". – Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona

Self I-dentity through Ho'oponopono allows us to reclaim our personal inner connection with Love, our Divine Source, resulting in Peace, Harmony and Freedom. Morrnah's updated version of this ancient Hawaiian philosophy of problem solving was left to mankind as a gift to be shared and practiced.

Before Morrnah's updated version, the ancient form of Ho'oponopono meant that the whole family had to be present. Nobody could be absent. There was a moderator and each member had the chance to ask forgiveness from the others. You see, nowadays families don't live close or together as they once did. To reunite the whole family and put them all in a room at the same time would be very challenging.

Dr. Ihaleakalá worked, traveled and presented with Morrnah for years and also updated the Self I-dentity through Ho'oponopono to make it even easier and more applicable in modern times. The new process became individualized so that it could be practiced alone.

I remember Ihaleakalá once told me, "if I would have told you guys 10 years ago there was nobody out there, you would have run away as fast as you could." Now we are ready to entertain the idea that it is just our thoughts (memories) of our family. There is nothing really "out there", it is all inside of us and our memories.

I can tell you from experience, since I took my first Self I-dentity training, things have gotten so much easier. See, the Universe is moving faster, and we are still stuck trying to "understand it all!"

I took my first training with Ihaleakalá in July of 1997 in Omaha, Nebraska, this is when I invited him to come to Los Angeles. I coordinated (sponsored) Self-Identity through Ho'oponopono (SITH) for the first time in January of 1998. At that time I was still practicing and attending other seminars. It was not until around the middle of 1999 , after taking several SITH trainings and coordinating a lot of other trainings for Ihaleakalá in California and Argentina, that I realized I had found what I was looking for and decided to ride one horse.

I remember one afternoon Ihaleakalá came back from walking with tears in his eyes, he said, "I just realized that all God is asking from us, is to take good care of ourselves and to say I am sorry. That is it."

Throughout the twelve years I lived with Ihaleakalá, he shared with me the many cleaning tools that would appear to him during consultations, trainings, meditations and long walks.

On another occasion Ihaleakalá told me that God didn't know how to make it easier so we would do it, he continued to say, "God asked me: what do they like to eat? I will put it in their food!"

I traveled with Ihaleakalá to Amsterdam, Brussels, France, England and many other countries. He enrolled and attended as a student, at the first Ho'oponopono training in Ireland, where I presented with Mary Koehler (Master Coordinator now of IZI LLC). We then continued to present trainings in Mt. Shasta, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Buenos Aires, Argentina.

By that time Ihaleakalá decided to retire. Yes, he had retired at one point and California was the last center he let go. This was sometime in 2000 or 2001 and also when I felt in my heart I could do this, I could teach Ho'oponopo. I asked the Foundation for approval and they decided to meditate on it, they then gave me their blessings and this is when I started teaching.

I taught Self I-dentity through Ho'oponopono (SITH) through the Foundation of I Inc (Freedom of the Cosmos) for those years, until 2004, when I asked permission to use their materials and dedicate myself to teaching in Spanish.

Well, the rest is a long story, one I will share with you on another occasion. So, after many years of having a double career, in November of 2008 I decided to leave my very stable career as a tax accountant in Los Angeles, not because I had savings or was debt free, on the contrary. As always, every time I made illogical, non-sense decisions, I always got the most amazing results. Now I am debt free and travel the world teaching Ho'oponopono in a very practical and down to earth way.

Ho'oponopono works for everybody! And can change your life professionally and personally. I am a living testimony that the results are guaranteed.

How many people have asked you questions like: What do you think will happen? Do you believe it will be the end of the world? Are you afraid?

We are so stubborn. We insist on always worrying about the future instead of enjoying the present. We miss many opportunities and blessings as a result of our constant regretting the past or worrying about the future.

I am going to ask you something different: Have you noticed that 2012 is already here?

Yes, the changes are here and they are not going anywhere. The first tsunami was the economic crisis, but because we didn’t see the water, we didn’t realize it.

The tsunamis have started and will continue. All kind of tsunamis are coming: social, political, economical, emotional and natural.

Now it all depends on you and the choices you make: Will you remain arrogant, thinking you know better and continue doing the same things you used to do?

The old ways of doing and thinking have become obsolete. Either you open your mind and become flexible or you will be swept away by one of the next tsunamis. There is nothing wrong with that. It is just your decision. You have free choice.

I wonder, after everything we have gone through, wouldn’t you like to stay and see how the Earth becomes a paradise once more? I know I do.

Remember the story of creation Dr. Ihaleakalá told me and that I shared with you in my first book The Easiest Way? He said:

When God created the Earth and put Adam and Eve here, he told them that this was paradise and that they didn’t have to worry about anything, that He would provide them with everything they needed. He also told them that He would give them a gift, the opportunity to choose, to make their own decisions, that He would give them the gift of free will. And so, He created the apple tree. He told them, “This is called “thinking.” You do not need it. I can provide everything for you. You should not worry, but you can choose to stay with me or to take your own path.”

I would like to make it clear that the problem was not the eating of the apple. The problem was failing to take responsibility and saying, “I’m sorry.” When God asked, Adam said “She made me do it.” And so this is how Adam had to go in search of his first job. Just like Adam, we are always biting the apple. We always think that we know best. We do not realize that there is another way, that there is an easier way.

Ho’oponopono is about choice. You cannot serve two Masters. You either let go (The easiest way) and allow inspiration (God/Universe) to guide you or you keep replaying old memories and do it on your own (the hardest way). There are only two possibilities; that is it. Either you come from inspiration or your old replayed memories.

Ho’oponopono is about allowing God to guide you. As long as you are doing the cleaning (asking for help and giving permission) you don’t need to worry about anything. You will be guided and protected and in the flow that will put you in the right place, at the right time, with the right people.

Everything is in perfect order. Just let go of your old beliefs, opinions and judgments and allow the flow to take you. Become more humble and say, “I don’t know.”

These are very exciting and amazing times. They require us to go through the dark in order to see the light. It is up to us how easy or difficult we want the journey to be.

Become a child again. It is time to go back HOME (Paradise), be ourselves , and do it God’s way instead of our way.

The only question then is: are you going to travel first class or do you prefer to swim? You choose.

As women, we are taught to spend our lives worshipping and paying attention to the external world, concentrating more on physical aspects and appearances, always focusing on what’s on the outside. By doing this, we are trying to win the approval of men, thus losing our identity and becoming dependent on men. When our lives depend on men, we stop doing what works for us, what brings us satisfaction and we are very unhappy.

When we do not develop our inner identity, when we don’t feel good about ourselves, we turn into erotic objects. We see the man as prey we must attract and, with that purpose in mind, waste time and the powerful and valuable energy that we could be investing in getting to know ourselves.

Women are endowed with the power of creation. We are able to give life and overcome enormous obstacles to do so. This powerful inner strength we possess and use to give birth is precisely what we can use to create and develop ourselves as individuals.

When we begin thinking on our own terms, seeking the answers within and stop depending on the opinion of others, we find the power and wisdom inherent to our gender.

Many times our emotional connection with our surroundings does not allow us to see the whole picture, and we perceive events as problems instead of realizing that they truly are opportunities to grow and develop.

In order to face the challenges that inevitably come our way in life, we must stop concentrating on the outside and instead develop our great inner strength using more unique, creative and personal criteria.

Our true strength resides in our ability to love and accept ourselves just as we are. Inside ourselves, we can find the answers we seek and the solutions to all our problems. We can find our true happiness.

To reach our maximum potential, it is important to wake up and free ourselves from the limiting social mandate indicating that it is our duty to multiply the species and sacrifice our own wellbeing to properly care for our children.

We have been repeating this false belief for so long that it now rings true. The time has now come to realize that sacrifice does not work because, when we do things for others and we are unhappy, others aren’t happy either.

In fact, a woman who cannot sincerely love and care for herself cannot truly love and care for others because she is empty and has nothing to give. We can only give unconditionally, with true love, when we are full. When women are okay, everybody is okay.

We cannot continue to focus on keeping up appearances in order to catch a man and have children. Limiting our existence to these purposes turns us into slaves and makes us very unhappy. We can be as queens, but we must choose to be dependent. We can’t blame anybody else for our unhappiness: we have decided to believe that this is our role in society and that we “need” to capture a man and have children in order to have a place in the world.

In truth, appearances are fleeting and temporary. They do not satisfy the soul. By placing so much importance on appearances, we live in the shadow of the world outside of us, limited and bitter. Our beauty might be striking but, unless we are strong and beautiful on the inside, we will never be happy and satisfied. By seeking our true value in the wrong place, we become unable to fulfill our true purpose in this life.

Once and for all, we must realize the damage we are inflicting, not only on ourselves but also on our children and the world. When we go along and maintain a passive attitude with social pressures to focus on the physical, it destroys more than it builds.

I am not talking about the women’s liberation that leads to strong competition with men, which we mistakenly imposed on ourselves and caused the pain of competition. I am talking about the inner development and appreciation that will help us accept and respect the men in our lives because, as we learn to value ourselves, we will become able to acknowledge the value of men instead of competing with them. There are no competitors on the outside.

We must support each other. In reality, people treat and appreciate us as we treat and appreciate ourselves.

Our role in this time of great change is fundamental. Change can begin with us. Men are here to complement and support us. It is useless to continue seeing them as enemies or putting them on a pedestal. We are both just as valuable, each with specific talents, qualities, and challenges.

The world will change when we change, because happy women raise happy children, and happy children can create a better world.

It all depends on us!

The reviewers who came back to my trainings this time in Moscow and Bucharest both shared amazing stories that they experienced in their life after taking the training. They also mentioned that the training didn’t feel like it was the same at all. I was not at all surprised. I always tell people that this is the case. It’s like re-reading a book. We always find new information we hadn’t noticed before. We ALWAYS get something new at every training.

Also at the Bucharest training, I shared with the attendees that I had just realized that the people who come back to the training every time they have a chance are the ones who REALLY get Ho’oponopono.

It’s true. If we take a Ho’oponopono seminar and never come back to review it, we didn’t get it. If we take one seminar and feel we got Ho’oponopono and start teaching it, we definitely didn’t get it. If we learn about Ho’oponopono on the Internet and think we know it, we didn’t get it.

The people who come back to the trainings are the ones who really get it. I will tell you why. When we get it, we want MORE. We want to feel good. We want more miracles in our life. We enjoy being at peace and happy and feel free for no particular reason, so we want to do more cleaning.

Every time we listen to the Ho’oponopono training, we go deeper and get more insights, more inspiration, and even better, we erase a lot of memories. After each training, we find ourselves doing more cleaning and receiving more blessings. This is because we all need to be reminded. Also, this allows our inner child to get more practice and develop a better connection with us when he sees our commitment, thus increasing the probability that he will do the cleaning automatically.

It hurts my heart when people don’t come back to review the Ho’oponopono trainings because they took it once and think they already know and need no further reinforcement.

There is a story about this guy in India who said, “If Buddha knows as much as he says he knows, then I will come back every year and ask the same question. Then, if really knows, he should give me the same answer.” So he did. He came year and after year and asked the same question to Buddha, but every year he would get a different answer. Then one day, he was so disappointed that he went to Buddha and said, “Don’t you remember me? I come every year and I ask you the same question, but every year you give me a different answer.” Buddha’s reply was, “Every year you are a different person, and I am a different person. How could I give you the same answer?”

Even if Ho’oponopono training seems like the same information, it is not. The process is never the same because neither you nor the Inspiration coming through is ever the same. The information that comes is the information that is right for the persons in that training.

I always tell people a lot gets erased during the trainings. It is really a blessing just to be in the room. If people knew how much gets cleaned in the training and with the previous, during and post preparation and cleaning, they wouldn’t think twice. It would take us many lifetimes to erase what gets erased when we attend a training, even when we take it in absentia:

“Noticeable calmness and peace in strained situation(s). Love & Aloha ~Justine, Hawaii”

“Hi Mabel. Hi everyone. I bought the Romania seminary on Thursday. I was working the next day and I was cleaning as I normally do when, suddenly, I felt completely different. I don’t know how to describe this situation, but I felt something enormous went out from my memory. I was also confident in myself. I felt, “I can do this and I’m not alone in this situation.” This was magnificent. Thank you Mabel. I’m so grateful for this idea. This is an amazing experience in my life.

Love ~Norbert, United Kingdom”

As for my own experience, I took the training every time I had the opportunity. In the beginning, after a couple of times of reviewing the training, I told my teacher, Dr. Ihaleakala, that I cleaned and cleaned but it didn’t work. Thank goodness there was a part of me that knew better and I persevered. All I can tell you is that I knew my subconscious was getting it. After every training I could see the difference. Doors opened every time. I found myself doing more cleaning. I was more at peace, more confident, happier.

So, when your intellect tells you that you know Ho’oponopono already and you don’t need more trainings, say, “Thank you” and go to the training. Even if your intellect says Ho’oponopono doesn’t work for you, don’t think twice and show up the next time you have the chance. You will be gladly surprised!

Always follow your inspiration, not your programs. Remember, your intellect doesn’t know a thing.

The only way of setting ourselves free is through forgiveness. Forgiveness, besides many other things, opens the doors to prosperity.

Forgiving lets us close a door so that a better and bigger one can open. It´s the possibility of a new start. It´s like going back to zero and when we are at zero, everything is possible. At zero, we are children again, open, flexible and curious. Without resentment, worries or expectations.

In her song Waka Waka, Shakira says: “We need to start from zero to touch the sky.”

If you are awake, if you know who you really are, you will have no problem in forgiving yourself and others. It´s easier than you think. You do not need to learn it because we were born knowing how to do it, it´s something natural within us.

Something that has helped me a lot personally, was realizing that, when I don’t forgive the person I think doesn’t deserve it, in fact , I’m hurting myself and not the other person . Then a moment comes when we must love ourselves enough to not hurt us anymore.

You will notice that in almost all ancient philosophies, forgiveness is always present as one of the keys to reach that peace and happiness we long for.

In Ho ´oponopono, the ancient Hawaiian technique of problem solving that I practice and I teach for more than 12 years, you don’t need to tell the other person that you are forgive him/her. Instead, you work with the memories (programs) that exist within you, with the thoughts you have of the other person and/or that particular situation. Forgiveness in Ho´ oponopono is an inner work because there is nobody outside of us. What we see outside of us are only our thoughts of the people or situations around us.

There is nobody out there doing anything to us. Everything is our memories, our programs and only we can erase them. Every time those situations appear, I say to them (I mentally say to myself): “I´m sorry, please forgive me for whatever is in me that has created this.” I accept 100% responsibility so I can set myself free and come back to zero.

It´s a simple and tremendously effective inner work because what gets erased from us. gets erased from others and especially from our family, relatives and ancestors. 90% of our problems come from our ancestors.

Nothing that is happening now has to do with what is happening in this moment. Everything is about memories. People in your life come to give you one more chance to forgive yourself in your heart and set yourself free.

Of course, the most important thing is to forgive ourselves. In Ho´oponopono, we never know what memories we are working with. Through this work, we give permission to a part of us that knows perfectly what we are ready to let go and erase moment by moment. We all have limiting thoughts such as: “I don’t deserve it“, “I don’t have enough education”, “I was born poor, I’m going to die poor “, that we are not even aware of at a conscious level but are obstacles we ourselves put in our way. Although they are at a subconscious level, they control us and make decisions for us all the time.

Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional. A problem is a problem only if you say it is. In fact, the problem, it is not the problem. The real problem is how you react to the situation. All the situations in our live are a blessing, even if they don’t look like. Say thank you to all of them. Show them the other cheek, the cheek of love, and set yourself free.

I get so much sincere confirmation from them because, as you know, kids don't lie.

Dr. Ihaleakala always said it is easier to teach a chair to do Ho'oponopono than to teach people, because we think (intellect). We are always thinking, comparing, and making stories. We are never present!

Well, as it turns out, it is also easier to teach the kids. They don't complicate matters with unnecessary rationalization nor do they feel the need to "understand it" all, like us!

Did you know that, during the Ho'oponopono trainings, it is better if you fall asleep? This way, we don't take the process personally! You see, the intellect often gets tired from so much "thinking." However, the subconscious mind (your inner child) never sleeps, and this is precisely the part we want to share this information with.

I had so many wonderful experiences teaching children Ho'oponopono.

Not long ago, a mother came to me after a conference and told me her son wanted to tell me something. The boy was 8 years old, and he said: "I told my mother, 'Thank you for bringing me.' I am going to practice this, so I will have less problems when I grow up." Then the mother consulted me about a problem she had. She wanted my advice. So I looked at her boy and asked him, "What would you tell your mother?" And the boy said, "I would tell her not to worry so much, not to take it so seriously." I then said to the mother, "The next time you have a problem, ask your son!"

All the kids have such great stories to tell when they come back as reviewers. I have kids in Romania that came back alone, because their parents couldn't make it that day. These children insisted on coming, even if their parents couldn't! So the parents had to bring them in the morning and pick them up at the end of the seminar.

In Argentina, a girl came up to me during a break and asked me, "Mabel, how do you know so much about Ho'oponopono? My response was: "I don't know."

It is so much easier to work with kids. When I tell kids, "Just say 'thank you' and let go," kids go on their way jumping and skipping, repeating "thank you." When I tell adults to say "Thank you," the adults ask, "How do I say thank you?" "Do I have to mean it? Do I need to feel it?" We are always trying to understand, but there is nothing to understand, and the kids know it.

Last year, when I went to Caracas, Venezuela, a 5 year old boy came to me during one of the breaks and told me, "You know Mabel, I have a friend who is always crying because he always wants what I have. In life, you have to say thank you for what you have. You cannot be looking at what others have!"

What a lesson! Do you still think your kids are here for you to teach them? To tell them what is right and perfect for them? In fact, they are your gurus and have come to teach you. They are here to give you one more chance. If you don't know what is right for you, how can you know what is right for them?

This year in Caracas, Venezuela a mother said her son changed his mind and didn't want to come to the training the first day, so they brought him to me. When I told him that he didn't have to be with us, that he could just sit on the floor in the back of the room and play with his toys, he agreed and said it was okay to stay. Well, he ended up choosing to sit in the front row and didn't move from his chair the whole training (both days!). The first day was Ho'oponopono and the second day a Zero Frequency® training. The second day, we worked on finding our talents and passions. He participated in all the interactive exercises, always with adults as partners. At the end, when I asked who wanted to share, he jumped up from his chair several times to share with us how he was going to use the tools of the seminar to help others and change the world. It was astounding. You can enjoy him here in this video

In Guadalajara, Mexico, two kids came to me during the break. One of them had made pictures of everything I had told them. Watch the video here. The other one asked me what to tell a friend of his who was very sad and lonely. I told him to tell his friend that he is never alone, that God is always with him, and I asked him if he thought his friend would understand and if he thought it would help him. He responded: “Yes, I will tell my friend. He will understand it perfectly.”

I invited them to stay with me on the stage and they did. At one point, a lady raised her hand and asked how she could help herself because her husband had been killed in front of her eyes and she couldn’t get that image out of her mind. This boy, without even thinking twice and before I could open my mouth, answered: “That is your fault, because you bring it to your mind and then you don’t want to let it go!” I had nothing to add.

Remember: Talk to your children while they sleep! Don't tell them that the next day they will make their beds, put away their clothes, help with the house chores and get good grades. ONLY tell them, "I love you. Thank you for being in my life." Even if your child is no longer with you, talk to him or her when you know he or she is sleeping! You will get much better results. And if you "have to" tell them something while they are awake, only say, "I love you. Thank you for being in my life." That is all they need to hear.

Then, just relax. Somebody who knows them better is taking very good care of them. You don'treally know what your children have come to live and/or experience in this lifetime. Let your children be your teachers. Appreciate their existence and what they've come to give you, and everyone will reap immeasurable benefits.

Parenting could be much easier than you think and definitely more rewarding and effective if you remember just a couple of truths. Every time you say "thank you" or "I love you" (mentally if you don't feel it) instead of reacting, trying to control, and worrying, you give your children to God to guide them and protect them. Remember, God created your children and knows what is perfect for them. You don't. Please do not medicate your child so that his or her teachers and you can relax. Much of our kids' frustration stems from the fact that we are so asleep. Do not tell them what to do. Pay attention, listen to them. Let them be their real selves. Encourage your children to accept themselves by reading them The Easiest Way to Grow at bedtime. Happy kids are never a problem to anybody.
When we are okay, our kids are okay. It is not the other way around. They are waiting for us to get it!
